CLA France: June 2- June 20

The 2025 CLA France Artists will arrive our home in the French countryside, La Ferme d’Hermance, on June 2nd and begin coachings, rehearsals, and classes on June 3rd.

CLA France, is a two-and-a-half-week summer training experience for emerging artists in the Périgord region of southwest France. Our program in France is dedicated to exploring French opéra and chanson with native teachers in all its complexity, nuance, and beauty.

CLA France is our most intimate program, made up of just 16 singers, two pianists, and four teaching artists. Our artists and staff members reside together in the French countryside and are immersed together in the magic of French music, language, and culture.
