The CLA Vocal Academy Experience

If you're an alumnus of CLA’s summer programs, you already know the magic of Classic Lyric Arts – the transformative power of music, the nurturing environment, and the exceptional faculty that have helped you grow as an opera singer.

Now, we're thrilled to introduce the CLA Vocal Academy (CLAVA), an exclusive opportunity for our esteemed alumni. CLAVA is designed to support former CLA summer participants who have completed conservatory training and are on the verge of launching professional careers. While the transition from student to professional is complex, the right guidance can make this leap organized, exciting, and full of inspiration. With expert coaches, valuable performance opportunities and generous mentorship, the CLA Academy provides the structure and plan you need to achieve the success you deserve.

Career, Musical, Dramatic, and Linguistic

Perfect your audition repertoire and expand your artistic abilities in individual coachings with CLA’s expert conductors, stage director, vocal coaches, and linguistic experts. Design your ideal training regimen by choosing how and when to use your coachings.

Present your perfected pieces while gaining valuable exposure at CLA concerts in New York City. Videos and professional photos will be provided to performers.
