Jordan Lee Gilbert: Alumni Spotlight

CLA celebrates CLA Italy alumna, Jordan Lee Gilbert, as she tours across the US as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera!

The competition for Broadway roles is incredibly high, with over 10,000+ singers vying for coveted roles in major Broadway productions like Phantom. Artists have to advance through several audition stages to be considered for the role. Jordan’s accomplishment in portraying this role on the Broadway National Tour is no small feat.

An alumna of the Manhattan School of Music, Jordan recently performed the role of Turnspit in Dvořák's Rusalka. She has also performed in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with both Opera North and Prague Summer Nights. Additionally, she performed the role of Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Estates Theatre in Prague.

Jordan’s recent work showcases the versatility of CLA-trained artists. Her crossover success into musical theatre reflects CLA’s commitment to developing artists who are technically strong, stylistically versatile, and prepared to excel in both opera and musical theatre, enriching the global performing arts landscape.
